Some of us started with T squares, stat cameras and mechanicals. It's a good background to have. The majority of us cut our teeth on computer keyboards and crayon-ed with QuarkXpress and Photoshop. Fortunately, we're all on top of technology as it evolves.
We design with the outcome of the printing in mind and follow through to the end, checking the piece on press to make sure we got it right, so you get it right.
"You see how this brings the eye there immediately and then leads you to focus on the logo? But what if I..."
Empire and Excelsior Plan

The New York State Department of Civil Service asked our design team to develop promotional brochures and a related pocket folder for The Empire Plan and The Excelsior Plan. The Empire Plan brochure provides a concise overview of the Plan's coverage, rates and service with photographs taken from different areas of the State. The Excelsior Plan brochure offers a similar overview with photographs of State and local government employees. The pocket folder depicts images of New York's various public employers placed on a map of the State.
Wellness in Action Brochure

We worked with UnitedHealthcare to develop the "Wellness in Action" brochure for the State of Rhode Island, handling research, copywriting, editing, layout, design and print coordination.
The brochure highlights the State of Rhode Island's continued commitment to health and wellbeing. With assistance from UnitedHealthcare, the State developed trend-setting health and wellness initiatives for state employees, their families and dependents. The brochure features inspirational language, wellness-related images and photographs of Rhode Island Governor Donald L. Carcieri and First Lady Suzanne Carcieri, state employees and the UnitedHealthcare team. Designed with an award-theme in mind, the 4 color brochure features an elegant di-cut, fly-leaf cover.
Capital Region Miracle League

We were thrilled to help the League develop a complete suite of print collateral pieces. We donated design and production services to develop business cards, folders, brochures and programs. All of the pieces follow the brand guidelines we developed for the League’s print and web based communications. Each piece will help the League attract new athletes, coaches, volunteers and sponsors.
New York Alliance for Donation

The Alliance is a not-for-profit organization comprised of organ, eye and tissue recovery organizations throughout New York State, as well as health professionals, allied groups and individuals whose lives have been affected by donation. The goal of the campaign was to promote the Donate Life Registry, while simultaneously increasing awareness of the dire need for organ, eye and tissue donation in New York State. This program involved working directly with the Department of Health and the Department of Motor Vehicles on the development of all materials.
We came up with the campaign theme "Ray of Hope", stressing that every person is a potential ray of hope for New Yorkers awaiting life-saving transplants.
Hoffman Warnick

The intellectual patent law firm, Hoffman Warnick, asked us to create a new corporate identity program which consisted of a new logo and design implemented across their collateral including letterhead, envelopes, business cards, labels and presentation folders. We also provided copywriting services for their collateral. Hoffman Warnick wanted to convey to prospective clients and employees the firm's entrepreneurial, forward-thinking and flexible business approach. Our graphic designer, Jen Marciniak, specializes in client branding and came up with a logo that was contemporary, fresh and created a sense of movement that helped Hoffman Warnick further differentiate itself from more traditional law firms.
